Dragon First Commercial Spacecraft to Berth with ISS

Opened the door to commercial crew and fundamentally changed how humanity accesses and utilizes low-Earth orbit at scale.

Dragon C2+ / CRS-1 — first commercial spacecraft to berth with the International Space Station. Regular resupply under CRS contracts followed (Dragon 1 flew dozens of missions until retirement). Significance: public-private partnership model proved commercial providers could reliably service government needs at lower cost/higher cadence.
