No install or config required; optional code access for those who want it.

Grok 4.5 is now selectable in GitHub Copilot across VS Code, Copilot CLI, and cloud agents via the model picker (enterprise may need admin enablement). Complements existing availability on the SpaceXAI API at $2/$6 per million input/output tokens.

Days after soft splashdown in the Indian Ocean, SpaceX published landing-burn and splashdown video plus recovery-team imagery showing the Flight 13 ship still afloat. SpaceXAI launched a free Grok add-on for Google Workspace: one install puts Grok beside open files in Sheets (formulas, charts, scenarios with cell citations), Slides (outline-to-deck, diagrams, theme-consistent edits), and Docs (drafting, structure, style). Complements existing Microsoft 365 add-ins for Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Grok Build can now author and run workflows: orchestration scripts that fan a large task across hundreds of parallel agents (default budget 128, up to 1,024), verify results, and report back in one background run. xAI open-sourced Grok Build, its coding agent and terminal UI, at github.com/xai-org/grok-build. Published source covers the agent loop (context assembly, response parsing, tool dispatch), tools, TUI (rendering, plan review, inline diffs), and the extension system (skills, plugins, hooks, MCP servers, subagents). Supports fully local-first use: compile, point at local inference, configure via config.toml. Usage limits were also reset for all users at announcement.

Starlink unveiled its next-generation V5 home kit: smaller form factor, lighter weight, and greater power efficiency than V4, with speeds up to 375+ Mbps for streaming, video calling, and gaming.
